Yoga Nidra for Pregnancy

Yoga Nidra is a special type of relaxation that is wonderful during pregnancy.

It is an adaptogenic so that means that it gives you what is most needed, which might be sleep!

People often ask me what is the difference between hypnobirthing and yoga nidra relaxations.  Hypnobirthing is outcome-focused, whereas yoga nidra is all about being in the moment.  This is an incredible skill to have for your labour.

What is in the Pregnancy Yoga Nidra collection?

19 tracks with different themes and lengths (12-35 mins), so you can choose what you have time for that day.  It costs £12 - that's less than 65p a track.

Access the tracks as many times as you want during pregnancy and labour, and even for subsequent pregnancies!

There is also a bonus postnatal track and two scripts so that a loved one can record the relaxations in their voice if that is even more comforting.

From 10 to 35 minutes in length.

Different themes so that you can find your favourite. Includes Falling Asleep track and bonus Postnatal track.

How long does it take for Yoga Nidra to work?

The relaxation can start to work in the very first track you listen to.  You might find yourself feeling daydreamy, drowsy or fall asleep.

As you regularly listen (twice a week would be great), it will become easier and easier to enter into the relaxed state. Practice makes perfect after all!  You can listen to them during labour to support you to stay calm and centred.

There is also a bonus postnatal track because being able to recharge in a short amount of time is very helpful with a newborn in the house.

What People Are Saying

"One of my favourite parts of my pregnancy was listening to your calming voice and truly relaxing."

Too busy to rest?

The yoga nidra tracks take you to a deep place of rest to support all the work that your body is doing to grow this baby and to allow you to switch off emotionally and mentally. And the short tracks let you do this in a set amount of time so you can fit it into your day.

Your baby benefits from this too. Babies are attuned to their mothers' emotional 'landscape'. Stresses are inevitable during pregnancy and yoga nidra relaxations can help you soothe your nervous system.

I genuinely believe that Yoga Nidra is what enabled me to have two wonderful births of my daughters and I feel privileged to be in your ear during this very special journey that you're on.

Give you and your baby a wonderful gift of connection.

I am a trainer of other teachers in Yoga Nidra with the Yoga Teachers Forum and have trained in trauma-informed yoga to deliver you the best and safest relaxations.  In the end you stay in control, you only relax as much as you want to.
