Yoga for Women

Yoga for every stage of a woman's life.

Because bodies change and need different support at different times.

Traditionally yoga was taught by men for men.  In the West, this situation has reversed and most people attending yoga classes are women with female teachers.  Yoga traditionally includes asanas (the postures and movements), pranayama (breathing practices) and dhyana (meditation), amongst other practices. I include these traditional elements to support your body, nervous system and mind.

Is Yoga for me?

Beginners are welcome! You definitely don't need to have done yoga before to join this friendly class.  And you are welcome with the body that you already have: you will develop flexibility and strength, you don't need these qualities to join.

Over the years, I have done different kinds of training that I incorporate into classes, including hypopressives (see below), somatic exercises, functional movement, to keep it interesting for you.

Try a yoga nidra relaxation now.

My favourite self-care activity is resting while listening to a yoga nidra relaxation. It gives me a regular dose of switching off physically and mentally. It's a smart way to rest because you can recharge in a set amount of time.

Try it for yourself. You will need 17 mins and a comfy place to rest.
